Homebound instruction is designed for those students who are so medically fragile that they can not attend school, is severe and is likely to persist several calendar weeks during which school is in session.

A Homebound Application needs to be completed by a doctor that addresses the nature of the illness/medical condition, the length of time the child will require Homebound services, and a reentry plan for the student.
